Our Services

Dogwood Financial Planning is exclusively a fee-only financial planning firm: we do not sell annuities or other insurance products, stocks, bonds, or any other sort of financial product. We collect no fees or commissions from any third parties. When you work with us, there’s no sales pitch and you can be confident we are working only for you, with no third-party conflicts of interest.

Our clients are charged a flat hourly rate for financial planning advice tailored specifically to their personal needs. Our services are $250 per hour, billable in six-minute increments. Following your free initial meeting, we can provide you with a quote for your custom plan.

Family or Individual Financial Plan: Approximately 6-15 hours

Your personalized road map: A comprehensive financial plan looks at all aspects of your financial life, including cash flow and debt management, tax planning, retirement planning, insurance planning, and estate planning. We also provide specific investing advice for your current investments based on your goals and risk tolerance.

Financial Checkup: Approximately 3-4 hours

A broad overview of your current financial situation that we complete during a working session in our office. If you're just getting started, or are starting over, this may be exactly right for you. You receive a written action plan to use in guiding your financial efforts going forward. You will receive general investing advice including a target asset allocation, advice on saving for retirement, and an evaluation of your net worth and cash flow. Specific investment recommendations and detailed analysis of current investments are not included.

Other services include second opinions, employee workshops, college planning/funding, and cash flow planning. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have about these or other services.

Note on fee schedule:

This list is provided for general information only. Actual fee quotes vary depending on client circumstances. A mutually signed and completed Client Services Agreement is the only binding source of fee-estimates.
